Meet the Board

Rob Denton

Board Chair, Connect Enka

Rob Denton - Board Member

Rob Denton has spent most of his adult life active in many aspects of the natural foods industry – manufacturing, distributing, and sales management. He helped create the first soy-based frozen dessert in the 1970s, formed a sales brokerage in the 1990s, and sold it to own and operate Brahma Ridge Event Center with his wife, Holly, in Candler NC. After 15 years Rob and Holly sold their property and are building a new residence on Brahma Ridge adjacent to the former event center.

Rob’s environmental and political activism led him to run for state rep as a Green Party candidate before being nominated to be an electoral college candidate in 2016.

Hobbies included camping, music, and gardening.
